MADAME ZENA AUTOMATON GYPSY FORTUNE TELLER IN BOOTH
Everything is handmade.
This is a wonderful doll made by Julie Rogers of the USA. She is dressed and wigged by Angela Singleton of Grace Mary Dolls.
Click on the above picture and you will be taken directly to "You Tube" where you can view the doll in action.
I have added an automaton movement which requires winding with a key (see pic.) The key is concealed behind the curtain. This movement makes the doll's right hand move over the crystal ball. Her left hand is full of coins.
I have completed the booth with Tarot Cards, Fortune teller posters, an electric light with plug attached, a curtain and a crystal ball. The lid lifts off (see pic.) to allow easy access to change the bulb (replacement bulb included)
There will never be another automaton doll like this one as she is a OOAK.
As it is a winding mechanism, there are no batteries.
The doll and all little items are fixed in place and the booth is enclosed at the back and base.
The Booth measures: W 8.3x D6.8cm x H15cm.
Please do not copy this idea. The doll, cabinet and posters are all copyrighted to their respective artisans.
This is a 12th scale (1" scale) collectors item and is not suitable for persons under 14 years.
