Miss Caroline Bingley from Pride and Prejudice in 1800's style Empire style outfit in brown and yellow Silks.
From an Estate Collection. PERFECT CONDITION.
I am daft about "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austin.
I had this doll dressed by Angela Singleton of Grace Mary Dolls. She was to become Miss Caroline Bingley, the utterly snobbish sister of Mr Bingley, but I realise now I will never have time to complete the project, so two of the dolls meant for the roombox are reluctantly up for sale.
Unfortunately, I do not recall the dollmaker (possibly she is made by English miniature doll maker Clara Cribb, but I'm not sure.) She is beautifully painted though and she was dressed in real silk by Angela Singleton of Grace Mary Dolls in England.
She stands 16cm. Fully flexible doll.
